A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent molar or premolar tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. A Top Quality BLACK Megalodon tooth from Georgia. The crown has an excellent black color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks and very glossy. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, partially rootedTriceratops horridus tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. A maxillary (upper jaw) tooth. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is high quality with excellent color and patina. This specimen resides on its original Hell Creek Fm. matrix. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. A very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. An August Fossil of the Month. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face.
