An EXTRA LARGE, ultra rare, GEM Trigonotodus serratus shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher from southern Virginia. Another January 2018 Fossil of the Month offering. A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from Peru with a tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and razor sharp. Excellent side cusp development. An exceptional pathologic Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. This pathologic tooth exhibits unusual root depressions across the face of the root and has both side cusps coming out of the front of the root. A Top Quality Serratolamna koerti, an extinct Sand Tiger shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. A lateral tooth. Note - this tooth developed a cool pathology to the right cusp area due to biting a dislodged tooth. Excellent color and preservation. This tooth is Lutetian age (45 MYA), lower middle Eocene. A beautifully prepared Comura bultyncki trilobite. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult trilobites to prepare. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. The rare tooth is from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. Fantastic red color. Excellent condition - no damage. No repair. I have not seen the swimming sloth teeth for sale before.
