An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, claw. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. The rare claw is from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. Fantastic red color. Very good condition with minor damage (erosion). No repair.  I have not seen a swimming sloth claw for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 10+ years ago! A rare collector's claw.

A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

A GEM, 3" Lee Creek Isurus xiphodon tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth. Yes, I said a 3" LC Mako!!! (Ok, let's call it 2-31/32".) This tooth is from an old collection. A GEM, ~5-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our 2nd January 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional tan & light blue color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. PERFECT serrations - razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent light tan color with essentially no hydration cracks and absolutely complete. A ~5" GEM JET BLACK colored Megalodon - lower jaw ANTERIOR tooth. An exceptional true black crown - not a charcoal gray color. Highest quality enamel - the surface is like glass! The large jet black bourlette is essentially complete. The large serrations are razor sharp with a good tip. The serrations are essentially complete - rare for a big Meg! The root has few hydration cracks and is complete. A GEM BLACK Meg tooth from the Miocene. A killer collector's tooth!

A rare, High Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent blue colored tooth with a dark brown colored bourlette. A LARGE Chubutensis - upper jaw tooth on its original sandstone matrix. Gorgeous variegated brown, tan & gray colored enamel with no peel. Incredible color! Good side cusps.  Extra sharp serrations are incredible. The bourlette is a brown color and essentially complete. The root is excellent red brown color, nicely articulated, and complete with essentially no hydration cracks. Matrix size is 3" x 2-3/4". No repair. An excellent, extra large Peruvian Chub tooth!

This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an exceptional white bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color!
