A GORGEOUS, "Bumble Bee" Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River red site in northeastern No. Carolina. The "Bumble Bee" tooth with incredible rare yellow and black colors! A January 2020 Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. No enamel peel. The bourlette is composed of the lower dentin layer. The serrations are sharp and 100% complete with an excellent tip serration. Excellent side cusps. An ultra rare Big, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a large adult Rex. A July 2020 Fossil of the Month. This stocky Rex crown measures 3-5/8" (straight line) and is thick for its size (1-1/4"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown and black color. Excellent serrations on the anterior and posterior serrations. Note - There is no wear facet at the tip and this tooth is serrated to the tip (a recently erupted BIG tooth - rare).
