Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The chevron is the appendage that resides below the tail vertebra that provides structure to the base of the tail. Chevron bones rarely survive and this one is 99% complete - very rare! This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. No repair or restoration. An Extra Large, Top Quality Archimedes sp. bryozoan specimen from Adams Co., Illinois. A January Fossil of the Month. This bryozoan is shaped like and named after the famous Archimedes spiral. Excellent preservation. Note - 7/8" wide. This Archimedes bryozoan was found in the Warsaw Fm., and is Mississippian age (325 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes.
