An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. This osteoderm has a high ridge on one side. There are some hydration cracks and crack fill. No restoration. An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Spheniscus megaramphus , Penguin skull from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of central Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent, large skull and beak. There are several penguin species described from this site, but I only seen 7 or 8 of these skulls ofered for sale 20-25 years ago. This is the largest penguin from this site.
