An ultra rare Orcinus sp., a Killer whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Killer whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. A MArch Fossil of the Momth. This tooth has incredible preservation and fantastic brown color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!  This is the only Killer whale tooth that I have seen from this deposit. A Top Quality Alethopteris sp. - fossil fern display piece from St. Clair, Pennsylvania. A December Fossil of the Month. Alethopteris is an extinct genus of primitive seed fern that evolved during the Pennsylvanian Period. This specimen is well preserved with white colored ferns on a near black colored shale matrix. This white coating is a characteristic of the mineral pyrophyllite. The St. Clair area is known for their white ferns on black matrix. Pennsylvanian age. (300 mya). It weighs 16.8 pounds.
