A TOP QUALITY, 4-5/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an lower jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are large and razor sharp - essentially perfect with an exceptional tip serration. Excellent serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. Excellent anterior symmetry! This Megalodon was found in the Pungo Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). One of the finest examples of a classic lower jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A rare, strange Top Quality Pathologic Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. The left root lobe folded behind the tooth and smashed into the back of the root. The crown has multiple waves. Excellent color and preservation. Complete tooth. Top quality. Authenticity guaranteed. A strange pathologic tooth. You don't this pathology often!

A GEM, 5-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our August 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue and tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional tan & light blue color! The bourlette is extra large and incredible with two shades of brown. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent light tan color with essentially no hydration cracks and absolutely complete. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & natural patina. Fantastic surface articualtion. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus this horn includes most of the orbital which is quite rare - a very complete specimen. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple - some minor crack fill and approximately 1" of the tip end was restored which is very minimal restoration for a horn. This is not a horn that is 20 - 30% or more putty which you most often see. It comes with a custom steel stand as shown. A fantastic fossil overall for display. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Butte Co., So. Dakota . Authenticity guaranteed. Certification of Authentication provided. Museum quality. A fantastic Triceratops brow horn display. You don't see these top quality horns very often. This one is much better quality than the typical brow horn! A great display size.
