A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. Excellent surface blood grooves are preserved. No repair or restoration. 100% natural specimen. Legally collected on private land in Bowman, No. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. This Megalodon has an incredible golden tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette - essentially complete with two toned color. Highest quality enamel. An ULTRA RARE, MONSTER Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Chile. A BIG pathologic GW tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a BLUE colored crown, a distinct gum line, and a burgundy root. Fantastic color! Highest quality enamel with little hydration cracks and no peeling. The enamel does have large wrinkles and the serration edge has multiple waves. Serrations are large with a good tip serration. The root is thick and extra wide. A GEM HUGE, 4-1/4" CLASSIC Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor - upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. LC006 is an absolute monster sized Chubutensis tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note that the crown exhibits small cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. The bourlette is 100% complete. No enamel peel. The serrations are long, razor sharp, and essentially complete including a good tip serration. Highest quality enamel! The root is an excellent light tan color and complete. An exceptionally large Chubutensis collector's tooth. NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another early Meg like this one.
