An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality, and there is a cool bite mark on the display side (see the 5th photo). The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration. Bourlette is extra large and brown - dentin layer. The root is wide & complete. A Pliocene Meg tooth. Note - the front center strip of enamel was professionally restored (high point of the tooth only). A Colorful, LARGE "Twisted Tip" Megalodon  - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a Black draped over Silver gray colored crown with a dark brown & black colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a rare "twisted tip". Excellent  serrations. Very cool! The root is excellent with a nicely articulated surface & complete with a small amount of erosion on the display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. The serrations are sharp and complete with a tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. A Top Quality, Pristiophorous lanceolatus rostal tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. The crown is exceptionally clean and sharp. A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. An EXTRA LARGE pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. More than 1-1/4"+ thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. A fantastic display specimen!
