A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & natural patina. Fantastic surface articualtion. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus this horn includes most of the orbital which is quite rare - a very complete specimen. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple - some minor crack fill and approximately 1" of the tip end was restored which is very minimal restoration for a horn. This is not a horn that is 20 - 30% or more putty which you most often see. It comes with a custom steel stand as shown. A fantastic fossil overall for display. A rare, Top Quality Brachylophosaurus  tail ungual (toe claw) from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. Brachylophosaurus is a mid-sized hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Judth River formation. Bone quality is excellent. Note - the distinctive ventral ridge is located on the base of the ungual. One crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. A Top Quality Hadrosaur maxilla (upper jaw) section from the late Cretaceous (Horseshoe Canyon Fm.) of North America. This jaw section contains 10 exposed teeth. This hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur was found in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation in Alberta. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a section of the lower jaw includes ten rows of teeth. Bone quality is excellent. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Horseshoe Canyon Fm., Alberta, Canada. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A complete node with good articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has excellent color / patina. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent manus claw.
