A Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 3". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. A Top Quality, LARGE Zilchovaspis rogusa trilobite from Morocco. It has German controlled preparation and retains all natural color and detail. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen. Incredible prep work! All natural - an incredible display piece with the front of the cephalon raised to 3-1/4" (see photos #2 and 4). A Lower Devonian trilobite (395 mya). An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. An October Fossil of the Month.  The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus frill section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. A Top Quality Protolamna sokolovi, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Tarrant Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Paw Paw Fm. shark. These teeth have a unique design with a high root face, broad side cusps, and strong vertical ridges along the crown base. This is a lateral tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare pair of juvenile Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, teeth in the jaw. Found in Siberia. An October Fossil of the Month. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus toe bone (metatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great toe bone with exceptional detail preserved and good color / patina. This is the metatarsal IV bone. You can see the "mushroom" appearance of proximal ends which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur toe bone. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from the Summerville, So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice tan color. A colorful Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a blue crown and a tan root. Excellent color!
