A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. An ultra rare, Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Nine main cusps (one damaged). Please note that this tooth broke in two and was neatly put back together.  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. An incredibly preserved, EXTRA LARGE Miocene Gomphotherium molar from Chatham Co., Georgia.  An extinct elephant ancestor that evolved in the Early Miocene and lived through the Pleistocene of North America. This is an unerupted tooth with fantastic cusp detail with no wear. The cusps are 2-1/2" high! Incredible jet black color. Well fossilized. Weighs 6.1 lbs. No damage. No repair.
