A Stromatolite sp. from Saf-Saf. Morocco. A possible Stromatolite algae mound from Morcco. Stromatolites are structures formed by colonies of blue green algae (or cyanobacteria). This is a Cretaceous Stromatolite. A very interesting display piece!

A Metasequoia occidentalis (Dawn Redwood) branch from Beaverhead Co., Montana. The Metasequoia  evloved in late late Cretaceous and survived the end of the Mesozoic extinctions. Three branches. Great preservation. Found in the Muddy Creek Fm. -  Oligicene age. Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare, Sphenodus tooth, from a very early shark. Absolutely great preservation - excellent condition with extra sharp cutting edges. These are Upper Jurassic age from Voskresensk, Russia. Note - there appears to be very minor repair (patch) on the rear of root (1/16" sliver area); left hand corner of the root of this tooth (rear side). Repair not visible front the display side. Bargain priced for a rare, killer Sphenodus tooth!

An Ultra Rare, Top Quality 4-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This tooth is still embedded in its original Round Mountain silt matrix block with a large whale bone. The whale bone is 7" long and 1.5" wide. Highest quality enamel with an excellent tan color. The bourlette is a tan color and 85% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. This is a middle Miocene Meg - very unique! Note - This is a 100% natural matrix block with nothing added or glued. No repair or restoration other the very tip. A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, posterior tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits very fine serrations along the inner curve of the crown only. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus to Auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent layers.

A very rare, High Quality Otodus auriculatus, an early Giant White shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. Very good color and preservation.
