A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni (False Mako) shark tooth from the Australian Portland Cement Ltd quarry, Batesford, Victoria, Australia. A May Fossil of the Month. Incredible color and preservation. Complete tooth. This tooth is Middle Miocene (Batesfordian) from the Batesford Limestone Fm. Note - tghe end of the tip was professionally restored. It is difficult to tell.  A rare collector's Parotodus benedeni  tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Australian fossil shark teeth are nearly impossible to source. This is a very unique Pristophoridae Sawshark species that is barbed on all sides, and it is only found in New Zealand. Incredible orange color and preservation. Complete tooth. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. A maxillary (upper jaw) tooth. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is high quality with nice color / patina. The chewing surface measures 11/16”. This tooth has normal tip wear. The root surface is very gnarly.  No cracks. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. A Top Quality Cretodus crassidens, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Denton Co., Texas. An October Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design that includes a large / heavy root with high root face, a narrow crown width, and broad side cusps. This is the big shark tooth in Texas Cretaceous deposits which can reach 2.6". This is a lateral tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth. I don't see many of these teeth.
