A TOP QUALITY, very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. A partial large molar or yoke tooth. An exceptional brown colored crown. Nicely articulated. Large root. This tooth has no repair. Note - enamel tip shows wear pattern on crown from grinding. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. A large Archaeocete molar section from So. Carolina.  A very rare collector's tooth.

"Flaming Red Auric"  A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth with a tan crown and a gorgeous, highly articulated red colored root. The bourlette is red colored, extra large, and nearly complete. The serrations are very nice -  large, razor sharp, and complete. Massive side cusps.  Incredible preservation -  among the finest you will see with an Auriculatus. The only challenge with this tooth is the left root corner broke during extraction and was reattached. The repair work is very well done and very hard to detect (no filler).   These Peruvian Aurics are very rare.

An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Ica region of Peru. A July Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. An excellent tan colored crown with clean edges. Excellent color. This is a late Miocene age tooth (6-8 MYA). Please note that there is an ~1/4" wedge restored on inside of the left root end. A desert shark from the deserts of Peru! Authenticity guaranteed. You never see Parotodus benedeni teeth from Peru. One of the rarest Parotodus teeth. This is the first one that I have seen!
