A rare Top Quality Psittacosaurus  skull from the late Cretaceous of northern China. An October Fossil of the Month. Psittacosaurus is a genus of extinct ceratopsian dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of what is now Asia, existing between 125 and 105 million years ago. This is a great skull with excellent detail preserved and good color & patina. There is a small amount of crack fill. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, partially rootedTriceratops horridus tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. A maxillary (upper jaw) tooth. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is high quality with excellent color and patina. The chewing surface measures 1-1/4”. This tooth has no tip wear. The root surface is very gnarly.  No repair or restoration. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. A LARGE Top Quality Diplomystus  fish from the 18 Inch layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) in the ancient Lake Gosiute deposit. These fossil fish are nicely preserved fossils.
