An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Deltadromeus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. Sharp serrations. Great preservation. Excellent red color. A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette.
