A Top Quality, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent needle-like tip serration. Serrations are just about 100% complete (1 with minor damage). The root is an excellent tan color with small hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! No repair or restoration. A GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A less common lower jaw anterior tooth - a very difficult position tooth to find. Gorgeous gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and light gray root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. Museum quality.  A killer collector's Harleyville Auriculatus tooth!
