This Chubutensis tooth is esentially perfect. The enamel is highest quality with no peel. The white bourlette is 100% complete. The serrations are awesome and complete with slight damage to one. Exceptional color! Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! This is one of the finest big Megs from this site and I would say the finest deep red colored big Meg tooth from this site! This is also one of the earliest Megs coming from the copper-red site. An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month. An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A November Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Incredible surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was very basic with one crack repair.
