A Colorful, LARGE "Twisted Tip" Megalodon  - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a Black draped over Silver gray colored crown with a dark brown & black colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a rare "twisted tip". Excellent  serrations. Very cool! A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. Our November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional light brown colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to 2nd & 4th cusp on the left side and a small amount to the 4th cusp on the right side. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  The BEST Archaeocete molar that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. An Ultra Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Pyramid Hill, Kern County, California. This tooth has a nice tan colored enamel and a very massive root. The crown enamel has good luster and sharp edges. High quality enamel. Note - the right root end was professionally repaired. It is difficult to see any repair. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Ridgeville., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Tan color. Lateral tooth. A LARGE Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, lower jaw with tooth. Found in the Indigirka River Basin, Siberia. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Excellent natural color!  This molar has a nicely articulated chewing surface. Completely fossilized. Weighs 9+ lbs.
