A LARGE Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Sperm whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth has great preservation and a fantastic brown color There a small amount of matrix on the rear. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A symphyseal tooth. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These  teeth have a design that includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. P. mortoni is a rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare!  Near Perfect tooth.

This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species.
