An EXTRA LARGE exceptional Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth has exceptional preservation, fantastic brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is nearly matrix free. An incredible, BIG late Miocene Sperm whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. Museum Quality. A Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible BLACK tooth with some light gray patternsand an excellent JET BLACK colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations.
