A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Whale Ear Bone, tympanic bulla, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This is an essentially complete ear bone. Incredible preservation and color. A Top Quality Ptychodus anonymus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Hunt Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. A Rare, colorful Peruvian Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an exceptional red - brown bourlette. The root is brown and red. Great color! Top quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and mostly complete. The serrations are large and sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). No repair or restoration. An excellent Peruvian collector's tooth from the old days!  Authenticity guaranteed.

This C. hubbelli tooth has small serrations at the base of the cutting edge, transition to very fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth!
