A GEM HUGE, 4-1/4" CLASSIC Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor - upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. LC006 is an absolute monster sized Chubutensis tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note that the crown exhibits small cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. The bourlette is 100% complete. No enamel peel. The serrations are long, razor sharp, and essentially complete including a good tip serration. Highest quality enamel! The root is an excellent light tan color and complete. An exceptionally large Chubutensis collector's tooth. NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another early Meg like this one.

A LARGE, HIGH QUALITY Megalodon  - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an excellent Tan with red highlights colored crown with a brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! Tooth was found without the top - feeding damage? The serrations are razor sharp. The root has erosion on the rear which happens with most West Java Megs. An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan colored crown with a GOLDEN tan  colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a razor sharp tip serration. Excellent serrations with one strange area. As seen on the left side of  photo #1, the serrations are short and each serration is perfectly rounded. This area appears to be a natural wear facet from striking an opposing tooth. extremely uncommon in sharks. Very strange. The root is excellent, great white color, and essentially complete with no display side erosion.  Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. Good size. A rare species! One of the ultimate Middle Devonian (380 mya) spiny trilobite from the Foum Zguid, Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. This plate has good preservation, light brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is completely matrix free - rare. A Large, Top Qaulity Edmontonia rugosidens tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Edmontonia rugosidens was a large Nodosaur which grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds. The enamel is very good quality with good color / patina. Very little natural wear. No cracks or restoration. ~76 MYA. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Wheatfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed.
