A Top Quality, Myliobatus sp., an Eagle ray, pavement tooth plate from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This specimen still resides on its original Round Mountain silt matrix which make a perfect upright display. A complete lower jaw plate. Excellent preservation and gorgeous color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible specimen. A very difficult specimen to find at Sharktooth Hill.

A rare, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent dark tan & light brown colored tooth with a vivid light tan & brown stripped bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color!  The bourlette is large and 98%+ complete. The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations. Wide shape. The root is good with minor erosion and a slightly pathologic root corner. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A special collector's Meg tooth.

A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with a gorgeous golden tan colored bourlette. There is a fantastic multi-color pattern on the front of the tooth. Highest quality enamel. Great color!  The bourlette is large and essentially complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations. The root is excellent and extra wide with some erosion on the display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A special color collector's Meg tooth. Note - This tooth comes with a custom display stand as shown in the final photo.

A June Fossil of the Month offering. Commonly referred to as Isurus hastalis, but renamed to Cosmopolitodus hastalis or Carcharodon hastalis as a Great White shark ancestor. Highest quality enamel. An ultra rare, ~5" GEM Incredibly Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible deep red colored crown. Exceptional color! Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! This is one of the finest big Megs from this site and I would say the finest deep red colored big Meg tooth from this site! This is also one of the earliest Megs coming from the copper-red site. Found in 2002! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST!

This is an incredible Pennsylvanian age sea urchin plate (280 MYA). Exceptional preservation. Note - all spines are associated and found attached. Extremely rare and a requiring extensive preparation to expose them properly.  Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic rare display specimen from a special collection of echinoids. Ones of my favorites. An excellent display piece on matrix - plate size is 15 x 11" (height) . Note - this plate comes with a sturdy custom designed wooden stand (as shown). Our 2nd November FOTM is a GEM quality, rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Extra large stem. Exceptional definition. Only slightly compressed. One of the finest pine cones that I have seen! No repair (that goes for all of the pine cones). This ultra rare cone is from an old collection with no new supply available. Authenticity guaranteed.
