A fantastic, Extra Large well preserved Jurassic brachiopod from Poix-Terron, France. All fully inflated and complete. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Note - 1-1/4" thick and heavy! Excellent preservation. This is a Middle Jurassic (Bathonian -165 MYA) brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. A Metasequoia occidentalis (Dawn Redwood) branch from Beaverhead Co., Montana. The Metasequoia  evloved in late late Cretaceous and survived the end of the Mesozoic extinctions.
