A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A Top Quality, "Picture Tooth" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from the Broad River,  So. Carolina. An excellent Charcoal Gray with light Gray "clouds" colored crown. Highest quality enamel.
