A very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. An August Fossil of the Month. An incredible red colored tooth! Highest quality enamel with sharp edges and a sharp tip! Root is massive,complete, nicely articulated, and has essentially no hydration crack. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield, California. This tooth has an excellent tan colored enamel and a very massive root.
