An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco.  A December Fossil of the Month. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, these teeth are an Abelisaurid, a family of Ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. This tooth is likely from the larger Abelisaurid species present in the Kem Kem. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent red color and serrations. A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. This plate has good preservation, light brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is completely matrix free - rare. An ultra rare, Top Quality pathologic lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Eleven main cusps including the pathologic center cusp (there are a couple small nicks).  Incredible color and preservation.
