An ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi, a complete whorl with three crowns from Herrin, Illinois. A July Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamp that our now underground coal deposits. Exceptional preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically with linear tooth whorls. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. This whorl is incredibly massive at 6" long with three crowns. The whorl body is well perserved with an excellent bright line of pyrite below the crown enamel. The crowns are large at 1-5/8" wide and look fantastic. Note - One crown tip has a small professional repair (~1/8") which is very common for a whorl. Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. A beautifully prepared, TOP QUALITY Walliserops lindoei trilobite, the "short trident Comura".  One of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. A November Fossil of the Month. Walliserops lindoei is an unusual looking species with three rows of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. A ~5" GEM JET BLACK colored Megalodon - lower jaw ANTERIOR tooth. An exceptional true black crown - not a charcoal gray color. Highest quality enamel - the surface is like glass! The large jet black bourlette is essentially complete. The large serrations are razor sharp with a good tip. The serrations are essentially complete - rare for a big Meg! A LARGE Chubutensis - upper jaw tooth on its original sandstone matrix. Gorgeous variegated brown, tan & gray colored enamel with no peel. Incredible color! Good side cusps.  Extra sharp serrations are incredible. The bourlette is a brown color and essentially complete. The root is excellent red brown color, nicely articulated, and complete with essentially no hydration cracks. Matrix size is 3" x 2-3/4". No repair. An excellent, extra large Peruvian Chub tooth!

A rare, High Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent blue colored tooth with a dark brown colored bourlette. A Large, Top Qaulity Edmontonia rugosidens tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Edmontonia rugosidens was a large Nodosaur which grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds. The enamel is very good quality with good color / patina. Very little natural wear. No cracks or restoration. ~76 MYA. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Wheatfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
