A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Atco Fm. tooth. A rare, TOP QUALITY Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has  the correct features is is incredibly preserved. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe bone (pes digit). A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe bone measures 2-7/8". High quality bone. Great rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. Normal crack fill with a section of the lower rim of the articulated end rebuilt. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic. A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the St. Mary's River, Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent unique red & tan color with unique St. Mary's River red circles. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks.
