A Top Quality, Extra Large rare transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent blue colored crown ("blue site"), brown root, and a vivid dark maroon "gum line". Excellent color. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate another large, top quality Carcharodon hubbelli since the few that exist are buried in collections.

A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February 2021 Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved and exceptional color / patina. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple - some cracks filled and a small area around the tip was restored. This is very minimal restoration for a horn. It comes with the welded steel stand as shown. A fantastic fossil overall. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Lusk, Wyoming. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal (from toe III - metatarsal - the arctometatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. This is metatarsal III which is an arctometatarsals, a shaped wedged metatarsal that strengthened the foot and improved agility. Arctometatarsals are present in Tyrannosaurs, Ornithomimimids and a few other dinosaur species. Excellent bone quality and color. This metatarsal bone is nearly complete. Excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A rare late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. with bite marks. This is most likely a Camarasaurus tibia end section.  There is a tooth rake and a wedge cut shown in photos #3 & 4. Photo #5 shows a circular puncture of the bone. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply.

A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators.
