A LARGE RARE, Top Quality Acheroraptor temertyorum (raptor) tooth from So. Dakota. Acheroraptor temertyorum is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors, and it is a close relative of Velociraptor. This tooth is 1/2" which is a large size. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color. Multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small anterior serrations. There is a small natural wear facet on the tip. See unique crown characteristic discussion below. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. No major restoration or fill  and not a "Frankenstein" combination tooth like other sellers have offered. The serrations were very worn and were professionally restored. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! An Ultra Rare, LARGE copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Rare deep copper red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel.
