A beautifully prepared, Asaphus kowalewskii trilobite from the Vilpovitsy quarry, Saint Petersburg region, Russia. This trilobite has a very nice three lobe design, and interesting extended eye stalks that have evolved to see in soft & murky sediment. A Middle Ordovician trilobite, Aseri level, (470 mya). Well preserved egg shell pieces from Hypselosaurus priscus, a Late Cretaceous Titanosaurid dinosaur from southern France. This was a medium sized Titanosaur. A very unique shell design with weakly developed small dimples. These egg shell pieces are typical size for these small eggs with a shell thickness of ~1/8". An Ultra Rare, Extra Large Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) incisor tooth from Morocco. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus. This material is complete and without repair.
