An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-1/8" (straight line). This BIG Nano tooth is extra wide and thick. A GEM, ~5-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our 2nd January 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional tan & light blue color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. PERFECT serrations - razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent light tan color with essentially no hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an exceptional white bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! An Ultra Rare, High Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. Good quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a near white color and complete. The serrations are sharp and near complete with a rounded tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the large groove on the root ends - a Miocene trait.
