An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus upper toe bone or metatarsal (from toe III - metatarsal - the arctometatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. This is metatarsal III which is an arctometatarsals, a shaped wedged metatarsal that strengthened the foot and improved agility. Arctometatarsals are present in Tyrannosaurs, Ornithomimimids and a few other dinosaur species. Excellent bone quality and color. This metatarsal bone is nearly complete. Excellent bone preservation. A very rare, Top Quality Ceratopsian toe from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. There were three ceratopsian dinosaur species found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation. This is an excellent four piece non-associated juvenile ceratopsian toe. The bones have great preservation and color / patina. Complete specimens with minor crack fill. No restoration. A Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei toe (pes) claw from the Judith River Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent pes claw. Good light brown color and patina. This specimen has good perservation with minor erosion. There is a very small tip repair whic is common. A quality, collector's claw from the JUdith River of Montana.
