A rare High Quality Dryoaurus altus tibia bone (an Iguanodont dinosaur). This Dryosaurus tibia measures 9". The bone is high quality. Excellent brown color and patina. Great overall condition with a little erosion on the bone ends. No restoration. Just basic crack fill. Dryosaurus was a small herbivore during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bob Simon Quarry, Carbon Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Complete Jurassic bones are rare!

Dryoaurus altus or "oak lizard" was an iguanodont dinosaur of the late Jurassic period. This dinosaur reached lengths of approximately 10 feet and reached weights approaching 100+ pounds. Their teeth hd an oak leaf-like pattern. A rare item for dinosaur collectors. Fossil remains in teeth, bones, and claws. All of which are very rare and extremely difficult to locate. These top quality specimens were all legally collected from private lands in the northwestern US. Late Cretaceous, Morrison Fm., 155-145 MYA. Authenticity guaranteed.
