An ultra rare, Top Quality EXTRA LARGE Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. A November Fossil of the Month. An incredible red colored tooth! Highest quality enamel with sharp edges and tip. Root is massive, complete, nicely articulated, and has a small hydration crack. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Heterodontus dorsal spine - the Horn shark from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This big spine specimen is still attached to its original Round Mountain silt matrix with a 2-1/4" whale ear bone. These Heterodontus spines only occasionally fossilize and they are quite rare. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus toe bone from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. This toe bone is complete with excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. An excellent red colored tooth. High quality enamel. A Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of Ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Abelisaurid tooth.  Note - Based upon recent discoveries, there is a large Abelosaurid in the Kem Kem. The 1"+ Abelosaurid teeth may belong to this large species. This is a largest specimen that I have seen!

A "Flying" Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Zilchovaspis rogusa trilobite from Morocco. A November Fossil of the Month. It has German controlled preparation and retains all natural color and detail. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen. Incredible prep work! All natural. An ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi, a complete whorl with three crowns from Herrin, Illinois. A July Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamp that our now underground coal deposits. Exceptional preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically with linear tooth whorls. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. This whorl is incredibly massive at 6" long with three crowns. The whorl body is well perserved with an excellent bright line of pyrite below the crown enamel. The crowns are large at 1-5/8" wide and look fantastic. Note - One crown tip has a small professional repair (~1/8") which is very common for a whorl. Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Authenticity guaranteed. The Edestus shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These Edestus whorls are extremely rare. This whorl comes with a custon steel stand and  makes a fantastic display piece. My lowest price ever for a complete whorl!
