A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another Meg like this one.

An ultra rare, ~5" GEM Incredibly Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible deep red colored crown. Exceptional color! Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! This is one of the finest big Megs from this site and I would say the finest deep red colored big Meg tooth from this site! This is also one of the earliest Megs coming from the copper-red site. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. An October Fossil of the Month.  The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply.

A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This is a large Premaxillary tooth ("Premax") or front tooth in the jaw which have a "D" shape. An October Fossil of the Month. This Premax Rex crown measures 2-3/16" and is very thick for its size (1"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich chocolate brown color. The serrations are exceptional going to the tip. There is essentially no wear facet at the tip which is not typical for a Premax tooth. One small crack, but no break. No repair or restoration. A 100% natural tooth! Fantastic overall condition with incredible serrations for a large Premax Rex tooth. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes. Note -  the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette. Highest quality enamel - glass-like surface. The finest enamel preservation - very rare! An exceptional black bourlette - near complete. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Serrations are just about perfect. The root is incredible - a medium brown, nicely articulated, and complete with very small hydration cracks on the display side. An exceptional collector's Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A near "PERFECT" Georgia Megalodon tooth. BEST of the BEST!

The bourlette is excellent and near complete. The serrations are sharp, but the tip was lost in a feeding frenzy. The root is an excellent tan color with few hydration cracks and absolutely complete with cool groove on the root lobes. An Ultra Rare, High Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. Good quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a near white color and complete. The serrations are sharp and near complete with a rounded tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the large groove on the root ends - a Miocene trait. This is a middle Miocene Meg - very unique!  100% natural. No repair or restoration.
