A QUALITY, Isurus desori tooth, a Shortfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw anterior tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. A natural Hoploscaphites nodosus ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with large tubercles (nodes). The shell is complete and matrix free. This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic display piece.
