A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 80% complete with minimal dentin layer exposed. The root is completeand nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. An ultra rare, 5-3/4" Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. The "Jaguar" Megalodon tooth. A May Fossil of the Month. This Meg is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC001 has an incredible black and copper-red colored crown. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are extra large and essentially complete with a big tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth. Bourlette is extra large, dark brown and 98% complete.The root is complete with very small hydration cracks. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base and groove on the root end sides. Note - there is a small area of restoration with the enamel of the non-display side in the center just above the root. A very rare, Otodus aksuaticus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations over the lower 2/3 of crown that disappear in the top 1/3 of crown. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!

A Rare, GEM Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth with great color. This Megalodon has an incredible red &  brown colored crown. The bourlette is a dark brown and nearly complete.
