An ultra rare, Top Quality Ikamauius ensifer (Sawshark) rostal tooth from the Oamaru, Campbells Bay, New Zealand. This is a very unique Pristophoridae Sawshark species that is barbed on all sides, and it is only found in New Zealand. Incredible orange color and preservation. Complete tooth. This tooth is Middle Miocene from the Gee Greensand Fm.  A rare collector's Ikamauius ensifer rostal tooth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A top quality, large Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the Split Fish Layer and shows fantastic detail. Excellent preservation and preparation.
