A rare Akantharges mbareki trilobite. This rare trilobite species has only been available for 5 years. A very ornate design with spines and tubercles on its cephalon and pygidium! This species appears to be armored or designed to blend into its environment for protection. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Good size. A very rare species! A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster.
