A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. A serrated Top Quality Tyrannosaur juvenile premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 13/16" -  an excellent juvenile premaxillary (front) Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. This premax tooth is fully serrated, and the serrations are incredible. Serrated to the tip with an excellent unworn tip. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A June Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 5-7/8" Tyrannosaurus rex tooth with root. This crown measures 2-1/4" and is root thick (1-1/2"). The crown and root enamel has very good color and patina. Serrations are worn and there is some enamel peel. Tip end is worn round which is very typical with adult Rex teeth. Several cracks in the crown were filled and stabilized. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from a massive Edmontosaurus. It is from the center toe - toe III. The largest one that I have seen! The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality is excellent. No repair or restoration. A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus occipital condyle from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a beautiful 3-3/4" occipital condyle with excellent detail preserved. This large codyle has fantastic color and patina plus a large section of braincase is attached. Note - The occipital condyle was the connection point of the Triceratops massive skull to the vertebrae column, and it allowed for maximum rotation of the head. No repair or restoration. An ULTRA RARE Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis skull section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February Fossil of the Month. This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This skull section has exceptional color and patina. Note the incredible blood grooves in the bone. A LARGE RARE, Top Quality Acheroraptor temertyorum (raptor) tooth from So. Dakota. Acheroraptor temertyorum is one of two recently described Hell Creek Fm. raptors, and it is a close relative of Velociraptor. This tooth is 1/2" which is a large size. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color. Multiple prominent longitudinal "ribs" run the length of the crown. Excellent large posterior and small anterior serrations.
