A FANTASTIC polished display piece with two exposed EXTRA LARGE ammonites and an orthoceras. A third ammonite is also exposed when viewed from the top. All showing the intricate internal chamber structure.The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the Ammonite cavities are mineral filled! These ammonites and orthoceras are beautifully polished. This display measures  8"  x  14" and weighs 12 pounds. You rarely see top quality, extra large ammonites and Orthoceras in the same matrix block. An incredible, rarely seen display item!

A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Well preserved vascular channels. No cracks or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm. I do not see large ostederms very often.

An EXTRA LARGE pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. More than 1-1/4"+ thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. A fantastic display specimen!

A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand bone from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent hand bone. Note that this is the last digit prior to the claw. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note that the hand bones are quite thin and most do not survive. This one is complete. A top quality, collector's hand bone from the Hell Creek of Montana. Note - 2014 Anzu wyliei description paper attached below.
