A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. A TOP QUALITY, 3-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible blue - tan colored crown with an excellent two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with a good tip serration (small nick). Super serrations - razor sharp! The root is an excellent light tan color with no hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). A RARE, Albertavenator curriei  (Troodon) tooth from the Horseshoe Canyon Fm. of Alberta, Canada. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with an excellent brown color.  Excellent large posterior and good anterior serrations. Please note that the Troodon teeth may or may not have anterior (mesial) serrations. A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits very fine serrations along the lower 1/3 of crown and micro serrations to the tip. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set!
