A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hand claw (manus ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They were mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Heterodontus dorsal spine - the Horn shark from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This big spine specimen is still attached to its original Round Mountain silt matrix with a 2-1/4" whale ear bone. These Heterodontus spines only occasionally fossilize and they are quite rare. An ultra rare Big, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a large adult Rex. A July 2020 Fossil of the Month. This stocky Rex crown measures 3-5/8" (straight line) and is thick for its size (1-1/4"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown and black color. Excellent serrations on the anterior and posterior serrations. Note - There is no wear facet at the tip and this tooth is serrated to the tip (a recently erupted BIG tooth - rare).
