A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern, trunk slice from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). Both sides are polished. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 3/16" and makes a great display. A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus ulna end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color with a gray patina. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight.
