Psittacosaurus is a genus of extinct ceratopsian dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of what is now Asia, existing between 125 and 105 million years ago. A GEM quality Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. Otodus chubutensis or Chubutensis is the extinct ancestor of the Megalodon shark. An August Fossil of the Month. An incredible blue & tan colored crown. Top quality enamel. The brown bourlette is large and complete. Sharp serrations are near complete (only 2 partially damaged) and an excellent tip serration. A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina . Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent BLUE colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and a ligth gray colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp.
